1. New Internet site
Le Bar à Huîtres welcomes you to its new Internet site: more powerful and containing more information than before, you can find out about our philosophy, our products and our view of what a fish and seafood restaurant should be. You will also find breathtaking photos because in our restaurants, the product is the star. Feel free to browse all the sections and look at all the photos. These changes came about following the arrival of Le Bar à Huître’s new owner. Garry Dorr wanted to turn this place into an exceptional seafood restaurant. With this aim in mind, he reworked the menu to offer the very best products from the sea. Come and discover the finest selection of “Grand Cru” oysters in Paris and also the most spectacular seafood platters in the capital.
2. A new restaurant
Le Bar à Huîtres Place des Vosges was closed for 3 weeks in June for an extensive overhaul. Huge tanks filled with fish and shellfish available à la carte (Breton lobster, crayfish, eels, turbots, etc.) were put in, screens inside and out, the kitchen was completely redone like those in the best award-winning restaurants and there is a whole host of other things to discover.
3. For the first time in France, iPads are replacing paper menus.
Since Saturday 2nd April, an army of iPads has come to replace the traditional paper menu. From now on, you will be able to marvel at a digital menu to choose what food, water and wine you are going to enjoy. Le Bar à Huîtres is proud to be the first restaurant in France to present its whole menu on iPad. A dedicated application is currently being developed to give you an even more enhanced experience.
